Atlantic cities create opportunities for young people

Led by Cesena in the URBACT programme, JOBTOWN is a European network of local partnerships for the promotion of employment and opportunities for young people. With the participation of Rennes and Avilés, the project aims to ensure that the youth today become members effective and successfulof the workforce of tomorrow, create more dynamic economies, innovative and competitive and ensure the sustainability of our way of life. The first transnational workshop on development of effective models of cooperation through the establishment of local partnerships for the promotion of employment and opportunities for young people takes place at Avilés this week.

IMAGINA ATLANTICA continues to promote creative exchanges in the Atlantic sector. Las May, Angoulême ireceiveda delegation of 25 Galician students, who visited the Image Pole of the city and other facilities. Moreover, the collaborative platform dedicated to young professionals and universities of image called “Imagin’a Job” has been recently open. It enables the downloading of CV and job offers in the economic field of new technolgies and image. Moving on, the project is now preparing an International Conference, which will take place in Ourense (Galicia) on June 27th et 28th under the title: “Creative Territories: Improving our heritage.
