Two projects funded by INTERREG Atlantic Area have been chosen by the Monitoring Committee to continue its work during a semester: IMAGINAATLANTICA and ANATOLE. Both share a goal: to make social innovation a key element of development of their territories.
Based on Creativity, IMAGINAATLANTICA promotes the common actions about new technologies in the field of image and its innovative application for the promotion of digital heritage in the Atlantic Arc. The extension, which includes new partners like INTELI, Donegal, Audiovisual Cluster of Asturias, Avilés and the Conference of Atlantic Arc Cities, will capitalize on a two-year work that has switched on the creative potential of the Atlantic cities.
Offering solutions to cities to develop short delivery food systems, ANATOLE has created opportunities for the local economy, finding the link between local policies and abilities in response to the changing needs of the inhabitants. From September, the new partners ANATOLE, as AIRE 198 or the University of Lisbon will be integrated into an initiative which aims to formalize the results of ANATOLE in a training tool accessible to local authorities.
