Last September 7th and 8th, the Monitoring Committee of the Atlantic Area Programme met in Dublin. This instance analyzed all of the first project proposals. Ms Tamara Guirao, secretary general of the Atlantic Cities, attended as observer.
Over 400 proposals, 102 (one out of four) caught the attention of the Committee and can progress to the second stage of the call. Among these, three projects managed by the Atlantic Cities’ Secretariat can be counted.
Moreover, the member cities of CAAC had a success rate of one in three projects.
Atlantic Cities’ Secretariat is already supporting its members for the rest of the call.
In general, the ranking of proposals is as follows:
– 38 projects on innovation and competitiveness (Priority 1)
– 22 projects on resource efficiency (Priority 2)
– 7 projects on territorial risks (Priority 3)
– 35 projects on biodiversity (Priority 4)
