EcoRIS3 Interreg Europe project has been approved along with 66 others selected among 211 applications submitted. The project will start on January 1st 2017 and will last five years.
CAAC members Fomento San Sebastián will lead the project and Cork will participate as full partner. Furthermore, CAAC is also in the partnership of EcoRIS3 to help the project reach a wider geographical impact.
EcoRIS3 is a project focusing on the transfer of innovation and knowledge produced by the research centres, technological organisations and higher education, to the local & regional businesses. EcoRIS3 main objective is thus to turn R&D results into economic opportunities.
Interreg Europe is a European programme for territorial cooperation helping regional and local governments’ endeavours across Europe, leading to integrated and sustainable impacts for people and territories.
