Santiago de Compostela participates to UrbanWins project

UrbanWins is a project of three years financed by EU which will develop and test eco-innovative strategies with the aim of prevention and waste management in 8 pilot cities in Italy, Portugal, Romania and Spain.

On September 27th more than fifty participants – political leaders, industries, public authorities, schools, domestic companies and urban residents, inter alia, of six representatives countries of the project (Germany, Austria, Italy, Portugal, Romania, Spain and Sweden) attended the kick-off meeting.

Also, they were present the representatives of the cities who will participate to the European Advisory Committee (Gothenborg and Santiago de Compostela) and cities which will take part in steering of different study phases of UrbanWins project: the metropolitan city of Venice, the municipalities of Pomezia, Albano Laziale and Monterotondo.
