The Atlantic cities have always stood out for their values of discovery, innovation and entrepreneurship. It is around these values that the Conference of Atlantic Arc Cities was created in 2000, values that continue to maintain a strong and cohesive network.

For example, in the Charter of San Sebastian, it is proposed both to support small and medium enterprises in chapter two and to reinforce social cohesion in chapter three. Such have been the values that have led the network of Atlantic cities to join the Around Me partnership; an Erasmus project for young entrepreneurs led by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Stara Zagora (Bulgaria).

The project, which began on February 1, also has other partners: Saretas in Lithuania, the Official Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Sabadell (Spain) and Evros (Greece), the Slovak Business Agency and the research agency of Iceland.

The Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs is a program of transnational exchanges that offers new entrepreneurs and people who want to create a business the opportunity to learn from experienced entrepreneurs who run small businesses in other participating countries.
