IMAGINAATLANTICA launches a digital arts competition

IMAGINAATLANTICA aims to create an Atlantic area cluster focused on new image technologies and their application in the innovative digital promotion of Atlantic Heritage.
The digital arts competition is launched as part of this European project so as to promote creativity in the Atlantic Area.   It is open to any organisation or any person aged 18 or over resident in the European Union, who must form international teams. The purpose of the contest is to make digital artworks that highlight heritage, and that will be exhibited in a public space.  Between six and eight works will be chosen to be exhibited in Angoulême in December 2012, and then in 2013 in the partnership’s member cities (in Spain, Portugal and Wales).   A prize will be awarded to each selected team.
