BDI leads the first draft of the Channel Manche 2014 – 2020 programme

Last June 29, the first project (“Intelligent Community Energy”) of cooperation between the French and the British of the Channel Manche 2014-2020 programme has been approved.

Bretagne Développement Innovation”, observer member of the Conference of the Atlantic Arc Cities since May 2016, is the leader of the project including nine partners.

The ICE project is dedicated to improving, developing and promoting new smart solutions for energy production, storage and consumption for islands and remote communities. By the end of the project, these new solutions will be proposed to other insular or peripheral territories facing the same energy challenges.
