Brest: Territorial projects on Education

Educational stakeholders, parents, teachers, coordinators and childhood and youth facilitators, local elected officials, popular education associations … More than 500 participants will attend the fifth national meeting on local educational projects in Brest, at the Quartz, on Tuesday 5 and Wednesday 6 November, The theme will be “Territorial educational projects: challenges for educational practitioners? “.

The involvement of territorial education projects in the Law  for the Reform of the Public School in France offers all educational actors an opportunity to further enhance their contribution to education. These players will debate the useful procedures for the development of complementarities between national and territorial educational projects, between school, peri-and extra-curricular time.

These events are organized by the Francas and Brest city, in partnership with the French Network of Educating Cities and the National Association of Directors of Education in Cities.

On the occasion of the General Assembly of the Conference of Atlantic Arc Cities on 3 and 4 July 2013, Brest Métropole Océane was elected Atlantic City of the Year.
