The Conference of Arc Atlantic Cities went from 9 to 12 October 2017, to the European Week of Regions and Cities in Brussels. This gathering is a platform for exchanges on “Good Practices” and know-how for regional and urban development.
This edition was rich in sharing and disseminating information on the actions carried out and to be carried out to reinforce the European cohesion policy.
CAAC participated in key sessions as:
- Creating opportunities for people through integrated urban and territorial strategies by DG REGIO
- ESPON High Level Conference on European Territorial Review: Territorial Cohesion Beyond Borders by ESPON (European Network for Spatial Planning Observation).
- How can we set long-term sustainable urban strategies within the framework of short-term political cycles? By DG Environment.
These interventions will allow CAAC to refine its 2018 lobby strategy. Member cities will receive an exclusive briefing.
