Following the decision of the Bureau, the President of the Atlantic Cities, José Maria Costa, sent a letter to the European institutions urging them to consider the proposals of the Atlantic Urban Forum.
This document has been taken into account by the European Council and the cabinet of Mr Juncker, President of the European Commission. In addition, it was also discussed live with several representations in Brussels of the Atlantic states, as well as the regions.
Likewise, it will be presented in Dublin on 17 April in the seminar Ireland’s European Connectivity – Ports and maritime links in the Atlantic sea basin organized by Prof. Carlo Secchi, European Coordinator for the Atlantic Corridor.
