The international convention of marine renewable energies Thetis MRE, a major European fair, was held on 9 and 10 April in Cité de la Mer of Cherbourg (France).

Thetis MRE is the exhibition that federates all the actors of the sector, to create strong links between them. In total, more than 260 exhibitors and 3500 international participants were able to discuss the various themes in this essential sector for the Atlantic Arc.

Thetis MRE was created to encourage the technological, economic and industrial initiatives taking part in the Marine Renewable Energy industry. After the successes of Brest in 2012 and Bordeaux in 2013, this new edition in Cherbourg marks an important turning point in the use of technologies and implementation of projects. The Atlantic cities will be once again in the spotlight since Nantes had been chosen to host the meeting on 20th and 21st may 2015.
