The opening of the Brest Arena is announced for the 13th and 14th of September, and the first show is planned the 11th of October. Brest Métropole Océane has been elected “Atlantic City of the Year 2014” and the city lives up to its reputation.
Why has Brest Metropole built up an arena? Instead of splitting between a sport stadium and a show auditorium, the city has chosen to create one adaptable facility that could host several types of events.
The infrastructure, with a regional orientation, will create synergies in terms of hosting capacity as well as technical offers. The future Arena could welcome between 600 and 5500 spectators depending of the possible 30 setups.
During the two open days in September, the visitors will discover the different rooms as well as the backstage areas while music and sport shows will animate the visits.
If you want to know more before the opening, you can discover the Arena through the virtual visit.
