IMAGINAATLANTICA aims to create an Atlantic area cluster focused on new image technologies and their application in the innovative digital promotion of Atlantic Heritage. The project’s long term aim is the creation of the IMAGINAATLANTICA Promotion Agency whilst developing experimental activities.

The first IMAGINAATLANTICA International Conference will be held on 13 and 14 December 2012 in Angoulême (France). Creative professionals and digital technologies are becoming increasingly important in industry.

More broadly, the creative economy, including its cultural and economic sectors, is a key factor of growth and competitiveness. Therefore it should be at the heart of future National and European policies. What are the issues? What actions should be taken? Are International and local networks what is needed to support and develop the Digital Technology Sector? What actions should be taken at French and European level to stimulate innovation in this sector?
These questions will be at the heart of two days of meetings organised in the framework of Imagina Atlantica project. The event includes workshops and brings together European and national experts and  representatives from European and national government organisations.
