Atlantic gastronomy: A Coruña ready to eat

From Sunday 15 to Tuesday 17 Coruña hosts the Gastronomic Forum. Public of professionals and gourmets have gathered in ExpoCoruña. Fire, grill and barbecues are the major thematic axis of this edition, in addition to sessions dedicated to smooth cooking and wine.

About 600 brands and 125 exhibitors will gather in a larger surface area of 6,000 square meters, with a growth of 45% over the past year. The Forum grows year by year, in space and quality and internationalization is one of the novelties of this edition.   A Portuguese delegation animates Porto’s space, guest city, with its famous wines, while a number of companies coming from Italy will bring the best of Italian cuisine.

One of the novelties in the Forum’s space is Cook Trends, a sort of food street agora where visitors can find their favorite product or can build a full menu from catering formats that are now growing in the world. Sizes ranging from the kitchen on wheels – food trucks up to traditional street food stalls, also the green cooking, Peruvian ceviche or Mexican food.

The Gastronomic Forum Coruña in 2015 will also host various competitions. Which are, Premios Picadillo and the Cook of the year award, with the competition of Pulpeiras/os, the II Championship of drawing beer organized by Estrella Galicia, sponsor of the forum, among others.
