On July 7, 2019, day of the 19th anniversary of the Atlantic Cities’ network, the Secretary General Tamara Espiñeira was interviewed by the Breizh Civic Lab. The addressed topics revolved around the association’s activities as a cooperation network, its relationship with Brittany and the different projects that the network promotes.
The forms of cooperation of the association were explained by the Secretary General, some of them are the joint research with experts for European projects in the framework of programs such as Interreg, Cosme or Horizon 2020.
Another activity is the promotion of dynamic and direct relationships between the cities, through cooperation with other networks such as the Iberian, Mediterranean or Adriatic-Ionian Cities. The association is also part of the Cities for Cooperation (C4C) platform.
