ITECHMER, hosts the She4Sea project

She4Sea is an Atlantic Cities’ project which aims to make the role of women in the maritime economy of the Atlantic Arc more visible. This Atlantic campaign to promote blue jobs has been recognized on several occasions, particularly within the framework of the Atlantic Maritime Strategy.

Thus, it is natural to hold a workshop during one of the most important maritime events of one of our member cities, the agglomeration of Lorient and the ITECHMER fair.

Our Secretary General being the director of the project, she invited one of our most active She4Sea, Marie-Christine Montfort, to speak and moderate the seminar. The other speakers present this October in Lorient were:

– Gaël Le Saout, Regional Councillor, President of the Commission for Economy, Agriculture and Sea, Europe, Brittany Region

– Gilles Van de Walle, Team leader of the FARNET network

– Laurent Bouvier, deputy director of the DPMA

– Alain Pomes, director of the European Center for Continuing Maritime Training

The workshop can be viewed on video HERE (in French)
