On November 8th, the Atlantic Cities Network presented a workshop in Glasgow dedicated to She for Sea. In it, Mariana López Henen presented The Ocean Corner international platform. She created this community in Plymouth to work with marine debris from around the world and transform it into hats, sculptures, photographs, paintings and other art objects.
She for Sea seeks to contribute the vision and defend the role of women in the maritime sector. It demonstrates how women are adopting careers in fisheries, marine biology, blue biotechnologies and creative industries inspired by the sea.
From 8 to 12 October, the “Sea Tech Week” is held in Brest. An event that will bring together thousands of participants, researchers and entrepreneurs. A unique opportunity to develop business relationships and scientific collaborations. The inscriptions are still opened, do not miss it!
