On November 19th and 20th, Brest Métropole will host the partners of the EURE project for a study visit concerning the urban integrated strategies for energy and environment.

Brest Métropole is the first city in France to pass an integrated 4-dimensional plan (housing, mobility, energy and climate) and is a pioneer city in the sustainable and efficient use of resources. Therefore, the city is an excellent choice to show the European’s partners that its constant innovations are resulting in a better use of resources and in the development of eco-friendly energies, within the urban area.

About the EURE project, his goal is to make the cooperation between several European stakeholders easier, and the gathering of their knowledge, so that they all can improve the use of Europeans funds allocate by the European Union to develop urban policies.

Thus, this study visit will be an opportunity to make experts of each country meet, and learn what activities the partners will implement in their cities to tackle their specific needs. It will also be the chance to visit some places  such as the Technopole of Brest or a biomass boiler room.
