ECORIS3, co-financed by the INTERREG Europe program, proposes an original vision of RIS3, looking for its effects, impacts and dependencies around each local context of the partners, with the aim of evolving towards an ecosystem of excellence for an innovation that includes the four dimensions of the helix: public sector, private sector, research and civil society. The Atlantic Cities (ACA), as a partner, plays a role in disseminating and promoting the project at the Atlantic and European levels.
After a successful three-year phase, this initiative, led by Fomento de San Sebastián, enters its second phase, dedicated to implementing action plans and disseminating the knowledge acquired.
For this reason, the partners met virtually via ZOOM this week. The first part of the meeting focused on a retrospective of the project and administrative issues consistent with ERDF funds. In the second part, the Action Plans and pilot actions were discussed, highlighting the plans for Donostia-San Sebastian and Cork, ACA member cities.
