On June 26 and 27, the partners of the EcoRIS3 project met in Nice for a study visit. In addition to the team meetings, which served to coordinate the partner’s activities, the trip was completed with a visit to the “Innovative City” 2018 fair that was held in Nice those days.
Under the slogan “Innovation for better life and Smart business” the fair welcomed public and private actors, elected representatives and representatives of communities, companies … who exchanged their opinions. The best in urban innovation was presented. 60 regional start-ups were present and presented their know-how, led by the region of South-Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur.
EcoRIS3 is a project led by Fomento San Sebastián. Its main objective is to promote the implementation of connection policies to generate the economic exploitation of research and development of research organizations (universities, private laboratories, etc.). These measures seek to facilitate the transfer of innovation and knowledge, the latter with local and regional companies as part of smart specialization strategies.
The members of the Network of Atlantic Cities are cordially invited to share their good practices in the field of innovation with this Secretariat, so that we can give them a European dimension.
