On March 20 and 21 the Atlantic Cities were in Brussels to present the Ecoris3 project to various strategic actors of the European Agency for Small and Medium Enterprises, Committee of the Regions, the Permanent Representations to the European Union of Ireland and Spain and of the regional representation offices of Galicia and the Basque Country in Brussels.

During the various meetings we made known the different actions that are being developed in the scope of the project and we discussed about the synergies that we can create at European level both within the framework of European funding initiatives and within the framework of other projects of European level, in order to contribute to the development of smart specialization strategies and eliminate the existing gap between innovation and the business world as a key element of the future development of our territories.

In this context, it is worth mentioning the different financing opportunities available within the framework of the European funding program Horizon 2020, aimed at promoting innovation in the European business fabric both at the level of researchers and small and medium-sized enterprises and at fostering the clusters of innovation.
