Last 28th January 2020, Brest Metropole, in collaboration with Atlantic Cities and the National Information Point (PIN Ville) held a meeting to learn more about funding opportunities in the European programming framework.
In particular, funding opportunities were analyzed within the framework of the European programme on innovation and research Horizon 2020 addressed to the urban dimension as well as financing opportunities for innovation in the maritime sector and sustainable urban mobility.
Moreover, Atlantic Cities took up this opportunity to present the case of a concrete project which is being implemented on the territory. The project called EURE, funded under Interreg Europe programme, aims to promote Effectiveness of Environmental Urban policies to improve Resources Efficiency.
At the meeting took part local actors interested in sustainable urban development and in the use of marine resources to move forward in the blue economy.
